Javin Lau<\/a> is a master of the time lapse. He captures the vibrancy of Toronto and Hong Kong with breathtaking shots. He has chosen his soundtracks perfectly and takes the beauty and splendor of these two metropolises to a whole new level. <\/p>\n

The titles “TORONTO IS HOME” and “HONG KONG IS HOME” are relevant to a lot of people in Canada. Mostly applicable to those of Chinese descent, they have spent a great deal of their lives in both cities, perhaps others too, but it is Toronto and Hong Kong that mean the most to them. The two towns have shaped their perspectives, given them unique interpretations, and made them who they are today. <\/p>\n

A person need not have a history with Toronto and Hong Kong specifically to relate to Lau, though. Anyone who has lived in another city comfortably and long enough to feel a sense of familiarity and connection with that city can understand that although “home” is a singular noun, it’s not always a single place.<\/p>\n
